🧶 About the role
Our back-end system are the backbone of delivering any of our experiences. We are looking for a strong motivated Back-end Engineer who is passionate about grapevine.
✏️ What you’ll do?
You will join the early engineering team and build a loved professional consumer platform for India.
- We're looking for a backend generalist who can pick up anything as required, from handling infrastructure, to writing APIs to running migrations
- You'll primarily work on Grapevine backend APIs, both public-facing and internal
- You'll have to ensure that all the APIs and services are performance efficient, and keeping in mind speed, performance, and the security of our users' data.
- Our backend tech stack consists of Python, Django, Redis, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes and many other open-source tools. We use Azure as our cloud.
- Prior experience of 2-3 years in these technologies is a big plus
💪 You will be a good fit if
- You've built public APIs before. Since your work at Grapevine will include creating APIs, some experience will surely help.
- You understand your users, like bringing great products to life and think of making APIs as a craft
- You've built, scaled, and maintained large-scale systems before. This is a big ask, and this is a big plus, but not absolutely required
- You are a fast learner. Our tech stack will grow with time, you need to be able to learn on the go and built solutions quickly
