Are EY, PWC, Accenture really consultants?
They like to call themselves consultants, but I've always found that suspicious 🤔
Yeah 😂 with whatever interactions I've had:
they'll consult internally before replying to any client email . They'll consult how to get things done but won't actually do it because cost The managers there consult on how to avoid any escalations and satisfy end clients and so on..
How do you define consultants?
Back in the day professional services was the department which had consultants (seniors) who actually went onsite and were responsible for designing, helped deploying the environment, products and also for closure of the projects. That's because they gave consultations to clients. Ergo. Consultants.
Whereas now every coder/analyst/new joiner etc writes consultant and becomes a LinkedIn gyani
I had a first year VC analyst while I was a founder that he’ll consult me to build my company. Guy hadn’t ever built a company and was going to teach me at that point I had two exits from my own startups.
Feel this is a linkedin gyaan trend of consulting😥
They are as much consultants as I am an astrophysicist at NASA.
Ghanta😂😂
