Handling Notice Period Miscommunication During a Job Switch

Hello everyone,

I need some advice. I'm not currently serving my notice period, but during a recent call with a recruiter, I was asked about my last working day. In a rush, I mentioned November 22, though I'm actually on a 90-day notice period. This is my first interview for a job switch, and now I've received an offer letter. How should I handle this situation?

My recommendation would be before you resign, apologize to the HR and talk to her about the notice period. There is no meaning of resignation if you can't meet the joining date.

Apologies for Recruiters here but 90 days notice period is making your job much harder .

Coming to your question :
Apply for another company and tell them that you have a job offer in hand and considering a company which is flexible with the joining date .

You can try to talk with Accenture manager and HR for early release/ due to medical conditions needed early release with certifications/Payout option. I know these are risky too even though I haven't tried. If you have tried means pls elaborate to me too brother
