Read a review about her on teammatemeter.com . She looks like a serious red flag. The recruiter also sounds very desperate for me to join this particular team only when I asked for another team in team matching phase. What to do? Join or not? The manager and colleagues matter more than the money on the table! But money is also important.
So one manager is rated poorly and you extrapolated that to all married female managers being incompetent?

OP has made a massive blunder and F'ed up a very genuine question by using a misogynistic generalised Headline and is now hardly getting the response he/she needed.
IMO, don't join the company especially since you feel that the recruiter was kind of desperate to get you on board and the review of yhe manager is not positive.
Also, if you actually want genuine advice from people next time, think twice before you generalise a particular group of people, be it based on Race/Colour/Gender etc.
Probably is. From personal experience I see that female managers tend to micromanage more and are more fussy about the timelines.
Hey, first, this generalization is uncalled for. 2nd, rather than reading review, why not talk to the people in the team. Ask them and grill them more about the team.
If they are always like everything is great, possibly it isn't and the place doesn't value radical candour. Money isn't nearly as important as a team that bats for you! I'd say, focus on finding the right team and everything falls into place
