Do you linux in your mac?

So recently i have this temptation to use linux. But i have macbook so thinking to use vm for that. If you’re already using it this way, is it good enough for your day to day works?

OSX is unix based so pretty much whatever you can do with linux can be done in mac. I run kali on a vm and with a little of tinkering you can get everything to work. One of my devops friend has configured his osx with all the tools available on boot in kali and uses OSX for all hack the box practices, so i am pretty sure it can be done.

That’s some interesting stuff. I mostly will use for web dev stuff. Although osx is enough for that but still i like diy stuff in linux.

Osx gives you a pretty UI so you dont have to DIY but you can still do it just for fun.
