I live in a small town with my parents. I couldn’t go to college, so I did a diploma and spent time learning performance marketing on my own. Today, I work remotely, earn ₹10LPA, and it’s been 3 years since I started.
My routine is pretty simple - I work during the day, and in the mornings and evenings, I help my father with our family farm. He also runs a small grocery shop, and I sit there sometimes when he needs me. Life here is not fast but I like it that way.
Over the years, I’ve managed to save ₹10 lakhs. It’s nothing big, just small amounts put into SIPs and FDs every month. My father taught me early that saving a little regularly adds up over time, and I’m starting to see that happen.
Recently, we got my sister married. It was the happiest day of my life. Seeing her smile and knowing I could help my parents make it all happen - that moment felt bigger than any salary or achievement. I don’t think I’ll ever forget how proud my father looked that day.
Another thing I’m grateful for is my friends. They’re the same people I grew up with, and I get to meet them every single day. We sit around, have tea, and talk about life, just like we always did. It’s a small thing, but I think it’s what keeps me grounded and happy.
I know I don’t have a fancy life like most people here, but I have everything I need - a good job, my family, and work I enjoy. Sometimes I feel like we run after too much when there’s so much peace in just taking care of the people you love.
That’s all I wanted to share. Work hard, save a little, and do right by your family.
Life is simple, and life is good. I couldn’t ask for more.
