Pros

  • Some teams are trying to solve good problems.
  • Tech stack is updated as per market.
  • Pay used to be competitive.
  • Someone who is starting their career and just wants to learn with almost no money, you can join.

Cons

  • Pathetic middle management.
  • Tech seems to be going downhill.
  • Upper management conveys in town halls that tech is not the main priority and we can work with B grade tech.
  • Constant layoffs, PIPs, unrealistic deadlines.
  • Favouritism culture at its peak.

  • Upper management selectively answers questions in town-halls and skips the real questions.
  • EM’s hands are tied by upper management, they have almost no say in their subordinates future/appraisal/career plan and gets pressure from both the sides.
  • Food business is somewhat break-even, Instamart is burning money.
  • All good folks were either laid off or left due to pathetic culture.
  • New CTO has the best fan following within the org and takes the best business and tech driven decisions (I hope you understand the sarcasm).
