You don't need to earn in lakhs or crores to still be able to live and enjoy life.
In fact it might be better to earn less. Real friendships and relationships are found when you don't have money to offer/spend. When you do, it's a completely different set of people.
Money is the quickest means to see who measures you by what size. Absence of which quickly tell you who - do they measure you by - size of your wallet or size of your character. When you're broke - life teaches you how to suck it up. and no one else is going to do it for you. When you are not - someone is always sucking up to you.
