Anyone has a Hair Transplant?
How does it work exactly? so i know they artificially place hair strands on your head but what I'm confused is the following,
- You lose hair after hairtransplant is done and then hair regrow or something?
- its not one and done, it takes about a year to show results? so does this main hair become natural or still cosmetic/fake?
- is it not permanent or it is?
- Do i need to get it every 5 years or something?
- why do actors with HT hide their skull when off guard, Ranbir Kapoork, Amitabh Bacchan etc?
- Will the hair regrow and can we get haircuts as one would?

Haven't got any transplant yet, but I might consider getting one after 10-15 years 😂 pretty young rn. But from what I know, you can think of it like planting crops. The hair will grow like it used to be there in a few months and you can get hair cuts and treat it like your normal hair. But this doesn't mean the hair won't fall again. You'd have to maintain it by applying minoxidil from time to time as suggested by your dermatologist
Also, if you're considering getting one done then get it done from a good place. It has risks of infection like with any procedures and the reconstructed hair should look real and not artificial (a straight, ruler drawn hairline would look odd and unnatural) so go with a well known place with experts
