I had to travel somewhere urgent and I didn't have earbuds so I ordered one from blinkit and guess what earbuds box was empty so I immediately reported that on blinkit and got my refund but what they did is they charged that amount from the delivery partner. I felt bad about him but they should fix this problem if they want to grow a number of categories on their app otherwise they will remain a 10 min grocery app forever.

Today was quite an eventful day for me. I was expecting a delivery, and when the delivery person arrived, I was just a few minutes away from home. I told him “I’m literally entering the society give me 5-10 mins” reached back within the promised time, only to see him driving away. I tried to call him, but he had the audacity to say “ab nhi milega saman, ab toh kal hi milega chahe jo karna hai karlo” he was hardly 20m away from my house when he said this. I contacted customer support, who initially promised delivery within an hour, but after two hours of no delivery i called them again and they informed me that the delivery was marked as attempted and could only happen the next day. Feeling upset, I asked to speak with a senior about the delivery person's behavior, but even that CS guy defended delivery partner’s action. The guy was so rude, and I wished I had recorded the conversation. 
However, I decided to check if BlinkIt had the product, and luckily, BlinkIt did and got it delivered to me in just 12 minutes, at the same price🎉. 
As for my Flipkart order, I won't cancel it, but I'll make sure to reschedule every time they attempt delivery. It might not change much, but i guess it would be my way to take revenge 🙂.

I placed an order on swiggy from Meghana’s. The order was of 1700 and I was trying to order one more item and cancelled the order by mistake. I cancelled the order within 1 min but reached out to support team for the refund. 

The cancellation button on the order has this little 4 bars which I thought was the allowed time to cancel an order. And if I remember correctly there was a dark pattern where there was no additional confirmation to check whether I’m okay to cancel the order with the entire amount as penalty. 

If they had asked or pointed out that the full amount was going to be levied as a penalty, I would have chosen to get this delivered. 

They had charged entire bill amount for cancellation and responded saying this is according to the police. I tried to understand how charging entire amount is reasonable. I tried making them realise that even if they had charged 500 rupees I would understand the charges. 

Later they asked me to write an email regarding the same. I wrote that email and now I have got an update that they won’t be able to refund any amount. 

This is Meghana’s biriyani, and it was almost within 1 minute and they charge the entire fucking bill amount. I am still okay to pay a cancellation charge if the food was prepared or was on the way to deliver but full amount for within 1 min. I truly hate how these fucking companies choose to be so callous towards both employees and customers. 

I always believed that most companies are empathetic towards customers and employees but I guess I’m wrong. 

From the bottom of my heart, 
- F*ck you Swiggy!
- F*ck you for being insensitive towards customers 
- F*ck you to your policies that makes a customer suffer 
- F*ck you to taking away a customers money and hoarding it with the restaurant for zero service delivery 
- F*ck your leadership team for using profitability as an excuse to hide behind shitty customer experience 
- F*ck your strategy and legal team to devise those cancellation policies

I didn't see with Zepto.

Swiggy is slowly becoming unusable. They have already increased minimum amount in Instamart for free delivery from 99 to 149 to 199 now. This is really becoming a problem. Is there any other alternative to this? They are slowly showing their true colours now that they are aiming profitability.

When an order value is above INR 199, you folks used to deduct the delivery fees automatically. But now, you have made it as a manual option hidden under layers of UI.

Do you want your users to keep digging your UI to click and avail the free delivery?

Ordered atta today, the delivery guy threw it on the floor. Flour everywhere, had to clean it up.

Asked the customer rep to help, took 30+ minutes only to not refund me the money.

I'd advice everyone to not use them if you live in South Delhi. Terrible customer facing staff members.

Biz dev and engineers might be alright, but everything else at Swiggy sucks.

I am a big user of Blinkit and I feel that it is an incredible service. I am highly dependent on it. I am someone who applies to B2C companies that have been extremely useful to me because I start believing in the product. 

While there are no openings that I currently see are up my alley in Blinkit, I just wanted to get an understanding of the work culture there.
