- The government has introduced three new employment-linked incentive schemes to address the job creation gap, aiming to create 50 lakh more jobs and upskill 20 lakh youth through upgraded Industrial Training Institutes over the next five years.
- Female employment has been a focus, with plans to set up working women's hostels and creches to help balance work and home duties, aiming to improve women's participation in the workforce.
- Corporate tax rates on foreign companies have been reduced from 40% to 35%, and the controversial angel tax on foreign investments in startups has been rolled back to support the startup ecosystem.
- The diamond cutting and polishing industry will benefit from the introduction of safe harbour rates, providing tax predictability and fostering a stable business environment.
- For personal income taxes, the new tax regime offers increased standard deductions and adjusted tax rates, but comes with higher capital gains taxes and changes to deductions on employer contributions to the National Pension Scheme.

This one will be very un-hinged 

1. The government is very aware of who their potential voters are and they are not willing to slap taxes on them.

2. Never seen a finance minister openly stating about special allocation of funds to particular states which is their alliance. This is a mistake usually FM announces special projects and other schemes for their alliance states. Indian budget and sentiment deeply affected.

3. Indian is in the right direction of development but in the wrong way. Indian taxation is  on the right set of  people but the demographic dividend can be better utilised in terms of taxation. For example increasing the GST to increase indirect tax people would be happy because it would be based on the consumption of the people. But Already the govt is concerned about reducing consumption so who is left salaried people and investors and traders.

4. Modi itself is not happy with what's happening right now but he has to accept the fact he is in a difficult position to do something.

5. Going further lot of individuals will commit tax frauds in their own way. Black money economy will thrive again why because there is threshold of taxes individuals can bare when you cross their patience black money economy thrives

Hi guys, i am currently working in deloitte have been searching for a flat since a month… but not able to find the right one… my preferred locations are anywhere on the magenta line or nehru place, Kalkaji, GK, Lajpat, or within 5kms my budget is around 12-15k. Disclaimer: Probably a rant.
Let me give you some context. I am an ambivert, I don't like interacting with new people. I have been working from home since the pandemic. 

Last day I, along with 20 other people was asked if they can come together on a weekend to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of a project(who does that) that I too was working on
One guy said he is busy and might not come. The organizer started to plead with him to go to the event, on the call, a conference call. And since I don't like the attention I didn't say I won't be going to that event either.

I understand from an organizer point of view, you have to show the maximum amount of people. But consider this, it's a freaking weekend. It should be a time to unwind from work and find some comfort of their own liking.
