Education market in India is huge. Coaching for JEE/NEET is done by millions of kids and top teachers easily get paid over 1 cr.
Don't think it's going to vanish anytime soon, infact it's only going to go up given increasing competition.

My JEE physics teacher was poached by Allen. It is said that he was offered 2.5cr annual salary and was given an Audi A8 as a joining bonus.
The starting salary in FIITJEE is around 20L or so.

There is a huge world out there and probably the number of folks hooked up with an educator is probably more than the DAU this app has. Education is a craze that isn’t going. A great educator will attract a flock.

Have been viewing a few free videos on Unacademy for SNAP (Symbiosis entrance test) prep. Has pretty good content around it. So ig it’s worth it for CAT prep. 3 lakh ppl write CAT, so I am assuming atleast 10k ppl use courses from Unacademy for prep. Then there’s UPSC for which it initially became famous. Also CA courses. So Yae ig they do have a pretty good customer base. And the thing with these exams is that aspirants write this for many years. So it’s kinda a recurring revenue for them.
Not in the TG but I guess India 2.0/3.0 parents are being approached by their Sales team.
