Wanted your opinion guys. Does it make sense to buy expensive clothes from the likes of Uniqlo, Zara, Marks and Spencer? Or it is just a marketing gimmick and one should infact buy online for reasonable (read cheaper) prices? Want to understand the reality here.
My Rapido bhaiya told me a very nice thing, "Hum mehnge kapde khareedte hai to, subconsciously unka zyada acha dhyan bhi rakhte hai. Zyada pehente bhi nahi unko. So we think ki kapde ki quality bhi achi hai. But agar cheaper kapdo ko bhi usi care se rakhoge to Utne din chalenge"
Shit made sense at 10PM in night and I still remember it past ~1 year.
Moreover all these brand manufacture these clothes from your local factories in India and Bangladesh. The extra you pay is only for the label. Go to local shops, you'll be able to get better fits and same product for better price(atleast for clothes and accessories)
I used to work for a startup in the fashion industry. Have done a few shoots of factories that belonged to some of our clients. That's when an owner disclosed that international clothing brands purchase tops around ₹250-₹350 which are later sold at a price around $35-$45. This was in 2019.
Bhai Uniqlo is worth the money
I got 3k sweater (no discount) I legit died paying full amount
But that thinnest sweater warms more than two wool layers - best investment
Marks & Spencer is shit
I've been using Uniqlo since years and it's worth every rupee. I've never been wowed by socks for example like how I felt after wearing Uniqlo's socks!!

Be fit. Wear clothes from decathlon for casual occasions. White shirt and blue jeans are always a classic. These look good only if one is fit. It’s not necessary that you need to spend a ton for these clothes. A decent pair of jeans cost you 700 bucks and a shirt might cost you around 800-900. Buy these clothes when there are offers.
Honestly. If one is fit, any clothing on them looks good. So spend money on your fitness. Any clothing on you will make you look automatically fit
I’ve lost 15 kgs+ and I haven’t bought anything in last 2 years. Was saving up for the day I become fit.
Now that I’ve, I’m going on a shopping spree.
Suggest me. Not looking for anything high end, might lose some more weight.

Get a girlfriend and she will figure out the rest for you ;)
Don’t get the concept of buying Nike from a mall and paying 8k when you can get them online for 2-3.
