First Credit Card After 8 Years of Job
Hi Viners, recently I have started looking out for a credit card which can help me save some money, can provide free lounge access (at-least 2 times in a quarter) and can help me save on my food bills.
Context : Earning is on higher side but have been always a debit card user but now I want to taste some luxury in terms of lounge access, discounts on petrol & food.
Get SBI Cashback credit card if your spending’s will be low and mostly online. This gem of a credit card gives you 5% off on most online transactions. Usual ones like bill payment, rent payment either get you 0% or 1%. This is the best one for shopping online with low mental overhead of points, miles, etc. Its a lot easier to throw all online expenses on this card without worrying about potential rewards.
The lounge access from this one has likely been removed as the Cashback has been a very good reward anyway. 😅
Where do you get the cashback? Directly in your SBI account? Also can you link the card to UPI to get 5% cashback on UPI payments?
HDFC Millennia is a good option. 5 perc cashback and lounge access every quarter. I got it lifetime free because of a good credit history from Amazon Pay CC. But Amazon Pay won't provide lounge access.
You can't apply for Infinia. Your bank should find you worthy and invite you to get the card. It takes a long time to build that credibility.
