Dunzo is owned by Reliance. Flipkart will never get on board with Reliance.

Didn’t Flipkart just tried to buy some stake in Zepto in last 2-3 days? And now they are going after Dunzo, interesting!

I also heard the same.

Talks with Dunzo didn't go through since Reliance's terms didn't work out, I guess. They then approached Zepto... Don't think Zepto will sell out now... It's now evident FK is desperate.

Today’s ET news says that the deal is dead. Even Flipkart Zepto is dead now and they’ll be going for a fresh approach for QC

All cxo’s in Flipkart have been there for so long that with stock options & the payouts they have been getting, many don’t care what happens to the company.

Still doesn’t make a case for Flipkart to get Dunzo because of stock options 😅

No guys Fk is not going to buy any other Hyperlocal or quick commerce company

It was very clearly called out in our all hands that they want to use existing FK capabilities in QC

For example we are not just restricted to sell grocery we will be selling electrics lifestyle home decor etc as well

We have OBD as first class construct in industry we are going to use it for electronic and mobile phone deliveres

Other QC don't have this

The delivery / return process for electronics is quite different for electronics and mobiles and we want to control it

So yeah baseline is we are not buying any other QC

They want to make use of existing inventory and scale it to QC We already have data of top selling categories per pincode so we will make extensive use of the same and will disrupt the market to come in top 2 QC
Rest all will shutdown in 2 years due to huge burn

Only time will tell.

Is Flipkart planning to expand QC to 2 or 3 tier cities?

Personally as an arm commentor I like to think Reliance will just let the startup slowly rot until buying it at some basement level valuation and folding it into reliance retail.

Imagine Reliance footprint with Dunzo last mile logistics.

Has Flipkart received a blank cheque from Walmart?

Flipkart is trying to enter two different market segments at the same time: Quick Commerce and UPI. There are already proven players in the space and it isn't possible to enter these segments without loads of investment. I wonder what Fl...

Reliance pulls representatives from Dunzo’s board

Just read this after getting to know earlier today that one of the cofounders have resigned. Didnt even know that the cofounders never had a stake, they’d just get a salary. Super weird.

Extremely sad, I feel things wouldn't have been this bad if Reliance did not completely paralyze Dunzo
