How to go about building additional income streams?

Need help from you guys. I earn a decent amount of money without having to spend much time. Now I wish to spend my spare time (say 6 to 8 hrs in a day) to do something fruitful and also earn an extra income. I want to know what is the recent trend, Affiliate marketing, Streaming, ChapGPT, Stock markets. I don't mind spending 2-3 years without any income, but I want to build something that is scalable. PS - I am from a finance background and work in the stock markets. So publishing research reports on companies is something that comes natural to me. What is the TAM for this. Would you be willing to pay Rs. 5000 for an annual subscription if I publish a report on 12 or 24 small / mid caps in a year. Or maybe IPO research.

Hello folks, This is a call for every software engineer and broader community. I’m a 30 year old customer support employee who worked at Airtel, MPL, Wazirx and I have 5 years of total experience all things customer support. About a year ago, laid off at Wazirx due to crypto taxes and regulations and it’s been an uphill battle to find a steady job in the market. Did few freelance jobs but nothing is working out. I’m at a point where I’m unable to even get by on monthly basis. I’m a Engg dropout as well, so no degree, no real top notch experience to land other roles. I finally decided to have a crack at software jobs and pivot to whole new field. I have few queries, if anyone can find some time and answer them, it would mean the world to me 1. Do I need a degree to land software roles ? 2. To pivot to coding roles ( no prior experience), where should i start ? 3. There’s an ocean of misinformation out there, I’m really confused on where to start and which courses to take up? ( Planning to take up Phyton ) 4. Can coding help to land freelance jobs ( I know it’s difficult and takes time to reach good enough of a level but I’m willing to work hard and put the hours in ). 5. I know companies doesn’t bet on candidates without a degree but what’s the best way to approach this scenario? Thanks a lot for your time for answering these queries. Highly appreciated 🙏🏼

So, I decided why not use this to expand my real working knowledge and earn some side income too. Any experienced freelance person, please guide on how to start and where to. howdy!! Folks I need your inputs please. I am a single parent to two kids and have a full time job which is basically the only financial source and now WFH is ending and my problem is: 1. With the role n responsibilities i am fully booked for office work and not able to take care of the kids or house like i want to 2. Even if i hire someone like nanny i still thinking of their safety and activities they r doing bcoz i want to engage them is teaching or making them learn spend time with them as they grow be there for them ( bcoz i know how lonely it is to have working parents) so i don’t want them left with nanny bcoz i believe money can be made again but their childhood will not return 3. Even if i get a WFH role, my time, energy and thinking capabilities will be taken up by the job only again leaving me less energetic, time to care for my kids 4 Everyone is against me leaving the job bcoz that’s the only financial source I have but i want to shift my stream maybe join as a school admin or start a food business that i can handle without much of mental stress but the pay will be way less So I am looking for something which gives me the time and mental peace to spend and raise my kids with a decent money to meet the needs. What can i do??? please tell me any other way out or a guaranteed income source along with being with my kids

Graduated from NMIMS in 2023- BSc Finance. Interned at some marquee IB firms and startups. Working at an NBFC in an MD's office role- Strategy Consultant since then. Having done multiple projects for the company, I now want to switch to a consulting company where I can have a more diversified set of projects. But the market being the way it is, I'm not able to find reasonably good opportunities on LinkedIn. How do I go about the whole thing then? Would be grateful for any suggestion or referrals.

Hi all, I almost mid 30s and been in Bangalore for 2.5 years. I believe I must build a steady second income in the next 6/7 years. Dont get me wrong , i like working - and intend to do that for as long as I can , but my new employment choices may decrease with time. Yet , have no idea what I want to do. I like technical work but am not insanely intelligent - just average. Would want some feedback on how to motivate myself. I have some self diagnosed weaknesses * I am not unpleasant to talk to - but dont make or interested in making a lot of friends and interacting with people (still have not made any new friends here) Lazy definitely :)

I m a student currently pursuing btech in entc from 1 of the top prestigious college in pune. When i pass out i can easily get 14 lpa (my batch's avg package ) i m avg in academics but always know what i am doing. But my goals are diff i m planning to make a switch into finance and get into either a vc or pe role or even the sell side investment role is fine for me. The bare minimum is i will work at a startup in finance or marketing role. But i dont want to do enggineering dont know why i never liked it and feel trapped here. I have no finance or accountin experience or core knowledge i have learned few things from internent but i dont think thats enough. I m planning to attempt cfa and give various sebi registered certification exams like research analyst , aifa etc . And then by getting 2/3 years exp i will even try for mba at iims. Am i on the right path on my career please provide your opinion or guidance . Thank you
