Is Mumbai liveable in future & worth buying a house more than 2cr ? Where else can one go apart from Bengaluru ?

Disconnected from nature. Getting polluted and congested day by day - what other option Mumbaikar have?

I visted mumbai ona short 2 day official visit. once tried to travel in mumbai local. Could even board. Left Mumbai and vowed never set foot again in that hell. My last company has its HQ there. My opinion its better to eat two poor meals a day in a village living out of a 1RK. Than live in mumbai. Anyways for a salaried employment all we can afford is 1RK in mumbai.

Forget population, there's also water shortage issues

Very true. Not just mumbai. But all metros. We will run out of water before the air becomes unbreathable.

All metros unliveable. I predict WFH will be the future giving the middle class the most wanted mobility to get away from cities. Indian corporate mindset need to change.

I am a Delhi person who has been living in Bangalore for the last 3 years. I like both cities (both have pros and cons) but I feel in a 10-15 year time frame, both are going to become unsustainable with traffic, safety, rising costs, inf...
