Wanna get some idea about market pay and the hike I’m getting in a e-commerce company. 

Worked as a DevOps/Software Engineer for 5 yrs and CCTC is around 30-32 LPA. New company is ready to offer around 42. 

Is it good offer or should I check for more companies?

I know some startup’s are paying like anything and this offer seems to be trivial for 5 yrs experience, but just wanted to know if I should be pursuing this offer or not?

I got an offer from splunk. The issue is last month I joined a banking MNC with 29 LPA as a fixed CTC.  

Right now Splunk is offering 22 LPA as base, 19 LPA as Retention bonus, and other benefits which makes my total CTC as 41 LPA. 

Not sure what to do? At one side I have a stable higher base pay job and on the other side a higher ctc and interesting job.

Should I join?

I got laid off in November. Had no luck getting an offer since then untill now. Recently recieved and offer from this company x. Glassdoor reviews are shit. They could only match my salary. Work from office with strict timings 9.30am to 7pm. According to reviews CEO is a hitler v2. Worst part is they have 3 months notice period. Only seemingly intresting part about this company is its work. Again, not so sure about that. They’re intlo building AI, ML and IOT solutions for companies.

Should I join this company and look for jobs or should I keep the offer and try for another one?

I have a job offer as a SDE 1 Frontend role at a Saas startup. I will be 25 in May and have 1.5 yoe and the offer is 17LPA. They have a team of 7 engineers. They have over 1m+ downloads on Play Store but very very small number of paid customers, so negligible revenue. They took funding 1.5m $ last year. I'll get the opportunity to kind of own the new product that we will be building. The job location is Bengaluru. I feel growth opportunity will be there as I'll be one of the few frontend developers but I feel very overwhelmed with the responsibility as I don't have much experience and I fell I'll be incapable of doing it. Also is it worth joining such a risky startup and shift to Bengaluru? I also have to work as a customer support person half day in a week because it's a small startup so you have to play every role.

Please help!!! Because eventually I want to join a bigger company which is well known and reputed because I want to get married and reputation of the company matters a lot in my community and all the knowledge I'll gain working at this small startup would be of no use as for interview prep at reputed companies you need to do DSA LLD HLD for which I believe I'll need around 1+ year just to prep and I feel I won't get time working at this small company due to the workload as the product is not yet built.

Getting an offer of 30LPA as a SBA at GamesKraft. But the thing is, I just joined Swiggy like 7-8 months back. 

(I was just randomly interviewing tbh. Just to ensure my skills are still at par with the market in case something bad happens.)

But the salary hike is a good one. It will probably take me a good ~2 years (ATLEAST) to reach there if I stay at Swiggy. What should I do? My esops haven’t even vested yet. And I can always interview for a hike in case my salary progression gets stale later, right?

And the work here is good. I am getting to learn a lot, plus it’s wfh. And Gameskraft had the tax issues with the betting thing. IS IT WORTH IT? Am i being greedy? Do i make the jump? Or do I be patient?

Is this worth it?

Last week there was a townhall meeting in my office . In that the CEO announced that company revenue jumped 2X and sets the expectations for the current year The hike will be low compared to the last year as the global situation is not doing well. Beauty is he throws out a promise that if company revenue grows 4x from this year then every one in the company will get an additional 10% hike on next year appraisal .


I joined this company recently. I don't know what they are up to in future . Is it a good deal???

Hey Folks,
I recently got a job offer from a US based finance company. They do not have any subsidiary in India and outsource the IT half to a team here, which I will be a part of. The organization specified that this will be a contract based role, and that either party may terminate it with no prior notice.

Is it a good idea to join this organization?  The pay is very good, almost 4x my other offers, but I am worried about job stability and the perks i lose if I am not an employee.

Are contract based jobs a safe bet?

I have over 1.5 years of experience and and my current CTC is 7.75 LPA in a product based startup. Is it worth to switch for 10LPA or should I wait for another offer.
I have had enough of negotiations and they can’t go beyond 10LPA.
I’m decent at DSA and solved arround 500 problems on Leetcode.

Is it worth to switch? Please help

So I currently don’t have a job. I am interviewing at some places . 2 years exp data engineer.
1st company - 16 base
2nd company (a big American bank/fintech) - 17 base

Now the thing is I want to join 2nd obviously because brand but I think I am being low balled considering it is not the lowest position. It is just 1 above.

What should I do? I have accepted the offer because I really didn’t want to lose it and the HR didn’t agree to increase it even after speaking to her for long.

Am I being lowballed?

This is extremely heartbreaking and devastating at this end moment when the internship cycle has ended for almost all companies. I had stopped applying to companies after I got my simpl offer.
