Most Insane Intern Story I have ever heard
Story happened during my internship. Another team was pitching a company in Argentina. The Data Engineering operations being pitched were very complex.
Now you might know that currency in Argentina in Argentina Peso. The intern googled wrong and wrote the deck using the symbol for the Philippine Peso.
The rest of the team copied her currency symbol from slide to slide.
The BU head ended up pitching with a deck full of Philippine Peso symbols. The prospective client interrupted him at the first slide and asked him “It is not a good first impression.”
They didn’t win the client. Also, the intern was blacklisted from the company and every company the BU Head had any relationship with.

Here I got away, advising the VP about best practice of password in shared account. Where he followed up to me, what else can we do better to minimise the risk. I was INTERN!
