NPS portal not working

I've been trying to login to the NPS portal via both web and mobile app to contribute to save taxes, but this is really the most pathetic portal I've ever seen. On the web app it says 'Entered and Computed Captcha incorrect' god-damn everytime. On the mobile app, the payment screen doesn't load. How are you guys contributing to NPS? Is there any other way apart from the portal? One of my friends does contribute to it via ET Money. But I'm not sure if it's safe to do via a private company. What if ET Money dissolves? Does my money get affected too? Interested to know what you guys are doing.

Yeh problem paisa daalte time. Paisa nikalte time socho Kitna problem hoga. Still think EPFO and NPS are good investments? These define different classes of risk that no finance course has thought of. "Login risks"

It's to save taxes, nothing else. And I don't think paisa nikaalte time dikkat aayegi. Mere dad ka abhi 2 months pehle hee NPS account close hua hai. Close hone mein bhale hee 2 months lg gye but vo 2 months paisa aur add hua unke account mein due to compounding. Abhi unko pension milti hai + ek lumpsum bhi.

Haan. It's good. I am just cribbing abt their cyber infra and bureaucratic processes. I think by the time we retire, it will be sorted out. Till then, we can joke abt how stupid their we pages are

Nai. But same situation mein stuck hun and financial year end hone ko hai. So asking for suggestions.

I had the same problem when trying to contribute through web, I think you need to enable cross-site scripting for that. On the mobile app, the payment page sometimes fails to load but it will load so I suggest you keep trying in the mobile app. I’m on an iPhone so I’m not sure if Android app is extra broken

NPS now let’s you generate a UpI id any payment you make to that idea is automatically contributed. I saw that option on the portal didn’t use it because I have stopped NPS now.

Ahh. But sending money to UPI ID directly could go terribly wrong. Already folks are not able to differentiate a real website/emajl from a fake one (phishing). UPI ke saath aisa hua with even 0.1% error then it could be really horrible since the number of subscribers are very high. Plus, a lot of people might not check their contributions as this is locked till 60. So could be too late before the damage is already done.

Bro, their service must be facing a lot of load. Just try after 1-2 days. If you think you will spend that money, make an fd of 7 days and then try after that.

I've been able to successfully contribute. Thanks to @BrainyPanda for suggesting to contribute via mobile app. Tried yesterday but the payment page didn't load. Did it again today, and contribution is successfully made. If anybody is facing issues, give a try with the mobile app. The web app is really terrible. I've been trying to contribute on random days since the past 1 month but I just can't login. Thanks again @BrainyPanda. Much appreciated 😀

Use kfintech NPS portal site. Govt site is closed most of the time.
