Opportunities for Business Analyst?

How is business analyst role as a career? Does it have good opportunities? Good pay? Some companies which pay really good for this role? Looking for responses from people with experience in this domain.

Hi , I am a Business analyst having 2 yoe , I want to elevate my career in data science or product or whatever i can do. What should be my next steps to have a better career. All kinds of advices are welcome but just don’t give me the typical Analytical advice like focus more on the business part etc. Just want to know all the possibilities which i can explore !! TIA

Hello Everyone, Post my MBA, I have joined Wipro as a Business Analyst. Its been almost an year with Wipro & have prior work experience of 3 years in non IT field. Currently looking to upskill myself. What certifications would you recommend in BA/Consultant/Project management role? Also,as I do not come from an IT background, would you recommend taking any tehnical certifications/courses for a better switch later?

I can majorly see product or business development roles opening up, with software development roles too in the forefront. There are technical roles in data science (for example, data scientists, data engineers) which seem to be opening up, but not much in business analytics. Please point me in the right direction. What is the future scope of the PM job role...will it still be relevant after 10 years, Is going to IIMs spending close to 25 lakhs in this economy to get into a PM job role justified?? Context: I know many people will say you don't need IIM to break into PM, But considering I'm a 25 Male, from tier 3 college...currently working as a product designer with 8 lpa...so I think the only way to reach 25-30 lpa in hand by 28 is by joining IIMs
