Predict: Hottest Industry of 2030
So basically I'd prefer to work in an industry which would grow exponentially while I'm in my early 30s. Examples include web3, AI etc
In order to be there while the growth happens, I'm okay to risk it and grind while being an early adopter. What are some industries/professions you think meet this criteria?

Hype rarely translates into value. Find what interests you and try to become better at it each day.
Very true! Perfect suggestion.
Bingo. If given Rs 10L for starters, where would you instinctively like to invest, that could be your passion area. Once you devote fully into any of your true area of interest, then that itself would be hot industry, and all these AI, VR, Blockchain can eventually be incorporated in that.
likhle bhai koi nhi bata sakta...be generalized
Generative AI and Clean tech ftw
Join healthcare tech side. It is still underdeveloped. I work there. But I would be too old by the time it matures, may be another decade. Main challenge there is they started collecting data (say digital wearables) etc at a mass scale just since last 5 years or so. One needs to follow up for 10-20 years to get good predictive model. Right now, the data collection is going on.
Thats a really good point. Once it matures, its gonna exlode like anything mankind has seen
If you were an industry, you'd be the hottest
I am unable to think of any industry that generated the massive jobs of IT industry these past 30 years or a theme even inside IT that can explode with jobs to meet the demographic surge in India until 2050 with everyone “wanting in”
Past themes: 1990s networking databases 2000s enterprise sw, virtualization, data centers, security, home broadband 2010s - cloud, apps , enterprise sw IT for financial sector strong all through
Sorry for being pessimistic but what will ai spawn or need that would require so many humans?
Coding is the last tradecraft that needs people to work by hand like a cottage industry worker of the middle ages. Every other branch mech chemical etc engineers no longer sit and hand build anything
If anything ai may lead to a steep reduction in need for sde and testers
And to grow exponentially whatever it is has to earn mountains of profit money like google search or say intel/cisco did once .. just being cool tech will not sustain it… has to be used by a lot of people and earn money somehow
Additionally IT along with any specific industry problem they are solving. Tech for tech sake is no longer a differentiation, you need business context/domain understanding too
