Product Manager at Oracle

I was initially shortlisted for the PM role at Oracle and the recruiter asked for my current compensation (41lpa fixed). We agreed to start the process without any hike expectation (I’m not getting any interview calls and want to move from my current company). But now they have put my candidature on hold because my salary is on the higher side. Is there a chance that they may get back or should I approach them with a pay cut?

Hi everyone,i am working in PwC Oracle ERP domain right now and have 2.5 YOE (functional not technical )in the same role but i feel that Oracle ERP is not that great and do not wish to continue further in the same and want to switch to either Data analyst role or to SDE role in big tech.But, I am not sure about my interests and one of the main reasons i would want to switch to the above roles is the opportunities that are present as well because Oracle ERP pay is decent enough but work life balance is not great and when something does not interest you much i feel at-least wlb should be there. A much needed advice from the public would be helpful here if they have knowledge about the scope of oracle and how do i transition and gain relevant skills to Data analyst or SDE while still working in PwC. I'm working as a technical product manager who has transitioned from analytics/data science role with over 5+ yoe and 2yoe as PM. I am earning in the range of 35-55LPA right now. While I am happy with the salary, I am not content with the role I have performed as PM so far. When I go for textbookish PM tasks and roles, I feel I don't do so much in my daily routine. Because of the nature of companies I worked in I didn't get a lot of hands on exposure into UX and the growth side of the job. I don't have a lot of confidence with many areas of product management and feel like at this stage for me to grow needs a significant skill and confidence boost. To do the same I'm looking for courses/degrees. I'm hoping to get more better opportunities if I have certification in my portfolio. What are your thoughts on the topic? Also, if you could suggest whether Hero vired certification in product management partnered with INSEAD will be a good choice? I will really appreciate objective feedback / frameworks that will help me with making the decision.

Quick summary - 12 years of over all exp of 7-8 years is in product management. Products managed - Payments, Banking, Platforms and SaaS. Currently building Gen AI powered SaaS products. Open for Senior PM, Lead PM, Principal PM or other senior PM roles. Currently in an IT service and consulting company but desperate to move to a product company. Had previous experience of working and manning products in a product company.

I have working experience of 5+ years in the banking and IT industry. I am skilled in SQL and PL/SQL languages. I am working on Oracle Fusion Products. I find Data science and analytics fascinating, I want to make a career shift in this field. Please suggest how I can make this shift happen with no years of actual work experience in the data science and analytics field.
