Recommendation for Movers and Packers?

I have managed to get a job in Bangalore and need to move from my current rental in Gurgaon. I have shifted my items many times through the last years and have never had a fully positive experience -

  1. I have always got my items damaged post the transit.
  2. I have always had to pay way more to the loading and unloading folks.

Can anyone relate to this? Can anyone recommend a good Movers and Packers who are literally no-frills?

Dealing with mover/packers is never a good experience.

I had tried Agrawal Packers & Movers (the original guys). This was 6-7 months back. Yes they were expensive, but I had a couple of new electronic items which I had bought only a few months back, so I didn't want to take any chances. Also, do not trust guys from NoBroker App, have heard fraud rants.

Agreed. The issue with FB groups however is that it is another advertisement channel these days and genuine replies may not come. Let me try those out too. Ty.

I had a positive experience with Gati packers and movers, but I used them to shift from noida to gurgaon. Never trust no broker, they are just aggregators and will shrugg off any issue you face with their vendor.

I had used NoBroker in 2021 when moving from Bangalore to Lucknow. I had all my items arrive properly. This was peak second wave.

Opted for the original Agarwal one for Lucknow to Noida move this year. NoBroker quoted a rate twice Agarwal. Again being in UP did not want to trust NoBroker.
Hiwever Agarwal guys did not pack items carefully. I was in Noida and my mom was the one at home in Lucknow when they came. When she complained, these guys were like "last time aapne kisi chunnu munnu se move karwaya hoga, hum agarwal wale hai." I had already packed my items in the cartons i retained from Bangalore move. Agarwal guys repacked everything in their own carton, to reduce the number of cartons. This is when I had already paid the amount based on the cartons i had packed. And so many of my kitchen items arrived broken, dent in the refrigerator. The only good thing was that the insurance claim process was hassle free.

Be careful there are two agarwal packers and movers bade and chote. Always go with bade Also the most imp.
There are duplicate websites to fraud u. Keep a check on that. Go with them ONLY even if it cost u more upfront.
