Will tell in short, graduated from a tier 1 , joined a consulting firm 2022 but I really don’t like my work. It is most monitoring shit and I don’t like my coworkers to be honest plus I am very anxious / depressed I do take meds and therapy . 
Now I am thinking I should quit my job notice period is 3 months and start a fresh maybe somewhere closer to home like Gurgaon I am in Bengaluru currently. Or I should stay in current job and maybe I’ll get pip to be honest . I am also thinking of doing other jobs not related to IT because frankly IT sucks I hate sitting all day staring in computer screen

I'm working at toxic environment. Since I don't have any responsibility and can take care of myself until I find next job I was planning to quit my job without another job at hand. My family doesn't have an issue. But I'm scared if it will be a problem to find another good job as I'll be jobless? I have 6 months gap before joining here for education. I have completed 6 months here and I'm planning to leave. Please advise.

I just cant handle the pressure and the stress in this role. I am working so hard that I have ZERO work life balance.  The entire day just goes in meetings and meetings.  I think that I don't know anything and am extremely worried about my future. 

The work pressure is a lot here, deadlines are too tight and I have been vomiting from stress at night.
The worst part is, Deloitte never pays for over time.

Anyone else feeling this in other Big4s? I want to switch ASAP or I will die here.

Got an offer from LTI as Specialist Software Engineer. I am getting arnd 40% hike on my basic. 

The issue is I am in a stable company with decent WLB and avg hikes are similar to inflation levels. 

Have heard LTI has a bad hike culture and wlb is project dependent. 

My only good thing is a NP of 30 days in my current org and no calls on weekend. 

Any advice will be helpful.

Currently working in a Fintech company in Mumbai as a Frontend Engineer with over a year of experience. The current CTC is 7 LPA. 

I feel like the growth here is limited and from the past few months there's been a lot of micro-management. Even the CTC is not up to Mumbai's expense standard. I live in a soapbox and pay like 1/5 th of monthly salary. Standard of living has been decreasing while it should be opposite.

+ I've 6 days work week with 9 hours /day shift. Although I've decided to drop in papers soon, I'd like to hear your opinions. 

Brownie points if you refer me to some good early stage startup probably in BLR or Pune or Remote.

I work in  a company where I am daily abused they call me dumb and my manager says I lack intellect and it’s shocking I am engineering graduate where i should have taken arts. My team leads are no good they also leave no chance to abuse me or make fun of me. They sit right next to me and are busy making fun of me. On top of that this company tracks our mouse and keyboard activity with screenshot of our monitor every 10 seconds to evaluate activity even when in office and there is no remote work policy. Almost daily I am abused and my mental health is gone for a toss. I am in depression and also feel that maybe truck hit me before i go to office because daily I am ridiculed there. Remarks like : I will slap you if any change comes in PR. You are so dumb. Cannot code dumbo.  and see recession what will happen if we fire you is common in company.

I fear market situation. So i am confused what to do?

I'm trying for a job in bangalore for over 6 months now, was suffering from anxiety attacks so started taking medicine. People laid off way later than me have started with their new jobs and are happy yet I'm still struggling here looking for a job, they are getting hikes and I'm just looking to get hired.
Is it time that I should give up engineering and pursue other domains??
Because Engineering used to excite me and how my luck has treated me and how much unnecessary problems I'm facing, I'm doubting if I should give up now.

When should I give up Software Engineering

I dont know whether there are any good IT companies in chandigarh, or I have to move out!
I already worked at SourceFuse for 5 yesrs and Grazitti Interactive, currently working in code brew labs. 
 At SourceFuse culture has changed a lot, Principal Architect had unprofessional work ethics,
 In grazitti(searchunify department) which was known as one of the best companies among tricity fired some people by putting on PIPs (including me), by very small reasons like more bugs(which i already fixed before PIP), coming a bit late to office but not everytime (like 15-20 mins) but without impacting the actual work, they talked too much discipline but didnt focus much on how we can improve the product, and whenever I improved, they didnt appreciate it.
At code brew labs, the experience wasnt much bad excpet for the team downsizing of third unicorn (ceo’s collaboration with ashneer grover), currently going okay and appreiciated for my efforts but salary was bit reduced while working at thier blockchain department!


I have shared some of my experiences, what do you think, should  I move out? actually I have 3 months of bond left
Is there any good IT firm in chd tricity  which have a better culture,  better management and bit interesting work ?
Also side by side I am grinding DSA + System Design Stuff!

Hello good folks of grapevine, I am very confused with my situation right now. I am currently working at a consumer tech unicorn in a strategy role but really burnt out with the working environment. Lately, I've been in a very bad office culture which impacted my personality poorly. I started having self doubts, problem in my marriage (got married 1 month back but my manager didn't granted me leave so didn't got a chance to celebrate my marriage, not even the honeymoon) , problem with my health (cholestrol level raised severely high), lost 5 kgs, grey hairs and what not. 
so, my mind is telling me to quit the job, take a gap, travel somewhere freely without carrying a laptop and again after 2-3 months , get back finding a new job.
but i am also scared that what if I dont get a job again? what if i dont get opportunity for working with such a big organisation?

I am currently working as a security analyst working for a company that provides pentesting as a service to its clients. I am getting paid 17lpa fixed salary. I earn 80-90k from freelancing every month pre taxes.

The work is full remote and the culture of company s also nice and workload is fine.
