Startup got failed, not getting any job
So I was running a startup but it got failed in June. Since then, I have been looking for a job in a startup or VC. But, there are very less openings in Business Analyst, Finance, and Investment Analyst roles. Does anyone know startups or VCs hiring for the above roles?
I look at about 50-70 startup decks every week. If you can share what domain etc you are looking at, I can share promising ones. You can connect with them on a personalised level.
Will take some effort and patience (plus luck), and we will get there!

I haven’t worked with this organisation or person. But Sajith Pai from Blume ventures seems approachable. I think writing a note and high-agency portfolio why you an Blume might be a good fit etc, might help.
I already checked Blume Ventures. They are not hiring for Investment Analyst roles. But, I will write to Sajith.. he seems a promising person.

During normal times it's difficult. Now even more difficult. The problem is once you have your own startup it's difficult to work or hire you as employee. Beacuse you have tasted independence. You cannot be a work horse anymore.
Your only chance for employment is thru referral.

I understand bro... An alternative is don't call yourself a founder. Say that you worked in a startup and got laid off. Don't tell the founder is your relative or college mate. This will work only if you have less overall exp. Since you were the founder getting an experience letter or even a salary slip shouldn't be difficult.

A couple of startups, really early stage with traction are looking to hire.
They wont be able to give monetary salary for 3-6 months, though.
Esops yes.

I will recommend. Write a hyper personalised email to the founders. Do not apply through job portals.
Also make sure to write email only to the founder responsible for the vertical you are interested in.
I know a founder who got a chance to work with Sachin Bansal, just by writing to him directly and showing his startup work.
Ohh that's nice. Tbh I have been applying through LinkedIn and didn't get any interviews. Now, I will start writing to the founders directly.
