The wild goose chase

I'm starting a new company and am assembling a team, in all my previous startups had like 7 people working but now everyone is settled and few have retired coz made too much from the exits so back to assembling a new team :p As in all my previous startups I paid an average of 40Lpa an 2-3% ESOPs to all the early team they made insane wealth. But now I'm thinking of going lower and meet the realities of the market rather than paying higher why not paying the market rate? I have been taking multiple interviews and experienced this people consider higher salaries to be a lie they want to earn dirt-cheap salaries and don't trust themselves with what they deserve and in the end ended up mocking me. One of the senior people that I interviewed thought 3lakhs per month was very high no-one pays that much. Same goes for an intern who I decided to pay 1lakh per month thought it's not possible and ghosted me thinking I'm scamming him ( his job was to meet high profile people make connection with different founders by going to parties and events regularly )! My new startup is not in crypto but in something unique! What do you'll think should I pay people less as that's what they think they deserve?

Hello folks, i have been thinking to pen down a post on this community for sometime now but seeing how GP is becoming a bad mix of quora & Twitter, i refrained myself from doing it but I do believe there are like minded folks in this community who can help me out there. I am a growth product manager in a bank within their digital banking team, have 6+ years of experience post MBA from SIBM Pune. I have worked with a traditional media company for first 3 years and with successful startups for the next 2, I am in my current role for the past 10 months now. My CTC is 35 lpa, (30 fixed, 5 variable )and 3 lac joining bonus. I was doing institutional sales for first 3 years, category management for next 2 and now heading growth for the digital banking app. I am feeling stuck in my professional journey right now, no specific reason but I think banking work culture is a bit boring for me. I am trying to figure out 'what Next' and have also taken up a course with growthx with the intend to learn something new, upskill myself and be relevant as times are progressing. I have always been fascinated with the idea of working with company's like Google, Samsung, Stryker, Spotify where I can have flexibility, good pay but more than that a feel good factor of not having to prove myself everyday at work. I have given the last 6 years to work, I don't intend to be so involved going forward but very firm with the idea of corporate being my primary income I don't know if I am making any sense of the current situation but just wanted to share my mental state.

Based on the numbers given, their daily transacting users should be around ~400-500k. 10M app downloads or 2 cr users as per app store. Definitely shows a leaky bucket in retention but impressed that half million transact everyday. Any users or people you know who invest?

Hi, Today I got a message on telegram that if I complete tasks I can earn around 3000-4000 Rs everyday. I signed up for their service by providing FAKE details. Once I signed up on the platform. I got around 1079.8 Rs as bonus. I withdrew that amount into my bank account (FAKE Name was given here as well). After that those people kept asking me to add 10,000 Rs into platform to proceed with next earnings. I rejected that since I knew that these are fraudsters and one you add that amount they never return the money (first time they pay 1079.9 Rs to win the trust) but later they don’t. Just to make everyone aware that get your first time money and never send any money on such platform claiming huge income everyday. Thanks

Imagine a day when grapevine collabs with companies and provides them the access of user’s posts, comments etc. Since grapevine has our corporate emails, company can trace us. Thrilling vibes!!!
