I usually buy my medicines at local pharmacy shop only as they give me 10-20% discount at MRP. Sometimes i buy medicine at apollo which are not available at local store. They give credit on MRP and mostly same credit is given in same MRP of the product. In the end , everything i buy from apollo will be at MRP. 

Another case is of zomato. I have to eat biryani from one of the restaurant. Price was to have at restaurant is Rs 140 and zomato shows me around 260 to be paid. As i was not lazy at that time and i went to restaurant itself.

Now comes lenskart, making a glasses with good frame is around 200-300 . They charge 2000-2500. I agree that we have to find frame and glasses by ourself through ebay or something else. In this case also i got good glasses with frame at around 1800. Glass quality is always shit in lenskart.

All the big companies talk about digital revolution but they just come with better presentation and website. 

Whats your experience with local shop owners and which items one should always buy from local shop owners

So I went to a optician store today and came to know that ZEISS is doing a company wide promo offering buy 1 get 1 free on prescription glasses range if anyone is in the market to buy glasses do checkout your neighborhood store.
Effectively got 2 pair of glasses (with blue filter feature) for rupees 6k all inclusive.

Also ZEISS glass quality, coating and reflection wise is better than the best glass available from lenskart.

ZEISS is running a buy1 get1 offer on prescription glasses

Lenskart does provide Blue lens to protect from screen but is it effective?

I have been pursuing some aspirational products like Apple Watch SE, Airpods Pro 2, PS5 etc. since a long time. I go to the Amazon page and add it to cart but then my conscience questions me as to is it worth spending so much on it? I earn decently and live in BLR but still I dont fully understand to give my mind a valid reason for purchasing a 40k Watch that shows time, some metrics and some automation. Also 20k for listening music, 50k for playing games.

It feels as if is it sane to spend much on these personal material stuff? How do you folks look at this while making purchases?

Got an offer from lenskart, their ambitionbox/glassdoor ratings are fairly avg/middle of the pack types but I noticed most of those negative reviews were from offline stores/ground level employees- where understandably the work is harsher. 

I’ve heard of Peeyush as a tech driven entrepreneur so maybe the PM function actually has some value (instead of ops/business teams)

Does anyone have any idea on how the core product management function is like at Lenskart?

Can anyone share their personal/friends’ product experiences at Lenskart?
