I'm a GrowthX member, & I have never come across any member who has given this description. Most people dissing GrowthX are not actually part of GrowthX.
If you really want an unbiased and honest opinion, DM any of their alumni network. Private messages will be mean full honesty and ensure you're talking to someone who actually did it.

Products like growthX are not needed. information taught in courses is publicly available and common sense. It is fake FOMO growthX creates to get revenue and audience. Courses are not required and the pricing is literally loot for the audience.

Spoken to someone at length on this. Depends on your background (Tech/Non Tech/Product) and your dedication to self learning IMHO. Content is decent & structured, if self learning you'd never push your self or struggle to find the right sources or context. Decent peer learning too (For Non Product folks). If you're already working in product for a few years, this doesn't make sense. It doesn't go deep in anything - FYI. Broad concepts, frameworks, etc. good enough to get you through interviews and basic discussions at office.
However, there's no beating the fact that the connections and networks you can build here are tremendous (If you invest in them). I've seen the slack channel and it's useful.

+1 to this. I did GrowthX mainly for the networking and branding. It’s good for that. Don’t expect to join and become experts in product and growth.

Hired 2 ex GrowthX PMs, have attended a few events. As a practitioner of the craft, GrowthX is just making people good at cracking PM interviews. When it gets to working in real world, it doesn't help.

The current cohort is priced at 70K. They increase it by approximately 10% each time.

Well they made it 85k and then got it down...
People are finally realising it more of marketing and networking event.
3rd cohort folk did the course at 20k.. 😂
So basically if you are late to the pyramid scheme you pay more 🤣

It was never 85k. I'm part of GrowthX community. The 3rd cohort was in 2020. And 75K happened in 2023.

It's 75K when I did it 6 months back. There are 2000+ people in the community and some of the best product, marketing and growth folks to learn with. I did it and found it to be well worth it.
