The new chrome redesign is lovely 😍

1. Result quality decline- For any content, I generally end up getting lots of spam results, essentially spammy SEO links. 
2. Shit ton of ads- Almost first 5 posts are ads for any generic query. 

Hate using it. Someone needs to disrupt Search business soon and bring in new business model. 

Ps: I know about Neeva and few other companies attempting to change it. I sincerely hope they do. Also OpenAi is leading competitor to search  now.

Atleast not in the form it is now. Found a rare good post on LinkedIn via Twitter which lists the reason why i think so. Also, I was reading psychology of money and one of the chapters discussed how GE used to be the most valued company in 2000s and how within 20 years, everything went to manhole.

Google is seriously going through a leadership crisis. I hate Pichai from the gut. We Indians like him coz he's brown munda, but I have never seen such narrow minded CEO since Balmer.

Many other xooglers raised these leadership issues earlier. 
 Meanwhile, tier2/3 kids are burning midnight oil to land up in Google to start YT channel

Google slowly laying off employees in one country after another is the most nerve wracking move. 
Couple days back they cut employees in Australia and similarly they keep laying off in a new country each week. Must be so enervating for employees. 

IMO meta and Amazon handled layoffs much better

I hate how the Spotify app works now. Without premium you cannot listen to songs in your playlist in the order you want, you can't play the previous song, you cannot move the duration bar either.

However, I recently realised that if you listen to Spotify in a web browser, you get all the above perks without premium, and if you have a good as blocker, even the ads don't disturb you. Did you know this?

Ad accounts arbitrarily stopped can disrupt cashflows in a major way. I'm seeing a lot of startups struggle with frequent algo/rule changes and blocked accounts.

Sad to see.

Google reduced prices by 70% after ola came up with very affordable pricing. Who are actually using this till now? Any Startups that will gain advantage with this? How much revenue are they bringing to Google till now? I'm unaware of this industry and not from tech background. Can someone explain in Layman Terms?
