A colleague has asked me out. I am married. How should i politely refuse?
Me and my husband are in the same company. A colleague of mine who has been messaging me on and off. I thought he was a genuine person but suddenly out of no where he has asked me out. I was taken aback because I thought that every body in the company knows that I am married. How can I deal with this situation without embarrassing yet politely rejecting his proposal.
Post a whatsapp status with the title "best hubby in the world" and add 2 -3 photos together with your husband. May be if he is genuinely not aware then he might understand after this.
If he keep on persisting then block him after giving a warning.
Best to not reply and just let things be

Almost all the respondents are males I am guessing by their responses 😅
Please reply with a firm no. There’s no other way to get out of such a situation. Don’t worry about how your colleague will react. He misunderstood your camaraderie for something else and a polite yet firm no will help. In case you can’t outrightly refuse, suggest turning that outing into a group one (invite other colleagues).

Let's talk about office romance
I seriously would like to know how to go about asking someone you like in an office setup? Without it becoming awkward later on if handed with rejection. Also making sure that the person being asked out does not feel creeped out.
Is it right to date a co-worker from your workplace? How do you manage it?
What are the pros and cons?
