Hi @Grapevine team and Community marketing enthusiast who have worked on 0-1/1-10, We are building a community app related to dating and figuring out unpaid marketing channels what will work or not since we don’t have much money to do paid marketing. How did you started grapevine and manage community effects, did you go to paid channels? Do you believe in grow fast or die or growing slow in community apps is also fine since credibility comes with size of community. What are the effective channels we can explore apart from twitter and instagram?

We started off by building community on Discord, back then it was called Corporate Chat India. Got early set of users via Linkedin and Reddit.
Ask your friends/colleagues to give you a shout out; that's easier way to get your first 1k users.
It takes lot of time to build a great community, and you shouldn't be in a hurry to grow it.

Dating and anonymous platforms are two different things and userbases are completely different
Atleast in india with dating its always been supply demand ratio problems it would be interesting to see if it gets any interesting
