Instead of hating, maybe just explore some discussions portal, go to websites like glassdoor ambition or levels.fyi and you would know the market standards for product companies. Compensation section in Leetcode is also fair enough. There are people with my experience same skill earning quite more than me, and then there are some who earns less. Luck plays a big game along with your skillset.

I get that it’s a lot of money but think about how much the author would have worked to get where he is right now. He must’ve spent countless sleepless nights studying and working on his projects. He must’ve sacrificed parties and social events. He might even have sacrificed little things that bring him joy to stay focused and got where he is now.

The company is paying him that much because he’s damn good at what he does and they think he’s worth it. So why the hate?

I think this is coming from a place of jealousy tbh.
