are these topmate 1:1 session guidance really worth it?
Lately I’ve started seeing so many topmate posts. Every other guy is giving mentorship by posting topmate links.
Recently i saw topmate post of one of my ex colleagues who used to write shitty code in production.
I wonder what kind of mentorship you get there. If it’s even worth it or not. Did anyone tried it yet?

Not sure about topmate, but scheduled a trial session with an influencer on preplaced and she has rescheduled it for 5 times now, everytime I would sit and be prepared and 15 mins away I get a mail she has rescheduled it, whereas she is very active in LinkedIn!
So topmate business development/ sales guys pitched every Tom Harry to sign up for link. They earned the numbers, actual quality and mentorship took backseat
Quality over quantity would work, but that would mean that not everyone will be able to afford services. That's exactly how everything is working in India.
I'm not in topmate, nor I support what I do. In fact, I kind of launched a completely free version of something similar, but wrapped up due to some issues.
