Asking on behalf of a friend - Should I move to Data Science ?

I am a PM with 2 years of experience, 2 years as BA. And 2 years as a software developer before puruing MBA. I really enjoy working with data, and I like getting things done myself rather than making other people do it. Should I do some Data Science course and move to that field? Does it sound feasible?

It makes sense. Given the current market, DS is a better option. Do some course + build some network for referrals.

@MassiveSpear I would like to know how you work with data. I'm out of DMs, if you could DM me or ping me on Telegram https://t.me/bumpy_stock , it be great. Happy to talk about DS as well.

People move from ds to pm, you are doing vice versa, PM is also promising if you are data guy as performance of products and it's growth is about metrics at consumer and market level, you can go for more data oriented PM roles like growth product manager
