  1. Since S has same business so Zomato also needs it.
  2. Depends on what are the xx% of 10min delivery orders. We will officially close it when people start realising that no order was delivered under 10min. Till then marketing will keep going for more attraction.

I love Blinkit and this category at large. And itโ€™s sad that most orders are getting slower and worse

Any business other than food delivery is important to Zomato.

Zomato believes in the long run and businesses other than food delivery helps it achieve that kind of sustainability. Thatโ€™s why Zomato has Blinkit, Hyperpure, Live events business (Feeding India and other concerts).

There are also other internal departments like Logistics, CRM, and Payments which are planned or already spun off as separate companies.

Itโ€™s a large category, where Blinkit is currently the market leader (vs Swiggy and Zepto) with better economics

Sure, it burns money, but my bet would be that theyโ€™ll keep it alive and that will be a great upside bankers will always rate their stock on
