Never. Too big to fail. Would probably get acquired by someone.

imo :

  1. Won't shut down
  2. Founders will exit
  3. Just like bharatpe, they'll have a whole new management

Can someone put together a betting board? Tech noob here - but will def love to bet some money on each of the following outcomes:

  • founders getting ousted
  • getting acquired
  • bankrupt and sold for parts

Won’t shut. Founder won’t leave. But there will be a massive down round. And professional ceo would be hired. Investors won’t let it go down.

It’s still a huge business with strong cash flows. And a lot of big investors are heavily invested. Here is what I think will happen-

  1. There will be more drastic cost cutting measures, focus will move from growth to unit economics and profitability.
  2. Founders will be forced out, maybe forced to part with equity through secondary sale as well. New experienced management and board would be set up.
  3. There will a down round around 7-8 Bn, giving the company a much longer runway.
  4. Expecting IPO in next 3-5 years

Situation with Edtech firms.

Any Goss on the financial health of Edtech firms like LEAD, Unacademy? I hear there's one more round of layoffs coming.
