This seems to be true as the guy who cheated had literal 5 percentile in s1 and is now giving videos everywhere about his preparation.
Even if he cheated, I don’t think he would be able to survive. 5 percentile is way too low to be able to prove your worth and defend 300/300. 🤦🏻♂️

I know someone from distant relatives the guy scored less than 10 percentile I guess around 7. Now he's studying in CS NIT Bhopal as his father had political connections. Someone else went to take his exam. And his friend too got admission in a Government medical College in the same way. They are still studying
Studying is fine. How about clearing the interviews and doing the actual job? Unless someone starts studying, they will find it pretty difficult to manage those.

JEE is a rat race to the bottom imo. I would much rather prefer to see people who have money send their kids to top schools.
But that’s the problem no? Hardly anyone has money to send their kids to top schools. Most of them are still from middle-lower class who give JEE. They unfortunately don’t have a choice.
Yeah well. I need to say that the model where you charge high income families more and use it to discount education for lower income families is better.
The worst part is that this lad took cheating to the extreme. I can't imagine how many such cases happen where the one who is being copied from score a 98 or 97 percentile or the guy copying copies smartly and gets a non-suspicious percentile. Those cases go unnoticed. Who gets the reward the hardworking student by not getting his/her well deserved place.
