
Cleared Deloitte USI Interview – Need Honest Insights on Culture & WLB
Hey everyone, Happy to share that I’ve cleared all the rounds at Deloitte USI and my offer is confirmed! Feeling excited but honestly, also a bit nervous.
I’m a 2.5 years experienced AI Developer. While I’m thrilled about this opportunity, I’ve also come across quite a few negative reviews online regarding work-life balance (WLB) at Deloitte . It’s made me a little scared about what’s ahead after joining.
Anyone here who’s currently at Deloitte (or has worked there) — could you please share your honest experiences about: • Work culture • Working hours • Realistic work-life balance (WLB) • Team environment (especially for AI/tech-related projects)
Also, any tips or suggestions you think would help someone like me before joining would be really appreciated!

I don't want to scare you as things depend on project. But at a broad level, If you are hired as part of a gps project. I would suggest to look for another opportunity. Those projects doesn't allow you to grow in the organization or career. Lot of higher management is retaliatory and have favoritism. Be prepared to shift at the slightest hint of trouble. Of course you will find good people but that is becoming increasingly difficult. Also, they are doing lot of PIPs to fire people

I am not aware of what is gps project here ? They said they are building some Gen AI application in azure cloud and I got offer letter from Deloitte Support services India pvt limited and the role they offered is Analyst - Technology. Do you have any idea with this ? Requesting to respond and As I have only 2+ years of experience in my career and worried to join Deloitte

Gps is govt and public service projects.
If I were you I would start thinking what would happen after this genAi project.
U can join but be prepared to leave.
They actually need lot of Jr resources as we are facing shortage due to mass resignation and PIPs to reduce project costs.
They restructured the organization to make people move between multiple projects easily and fire them if they don't deliver or complain. And other resources can take on the extra load from resigned person. I am not entirely sure of your project but most of the sr management would be same as they monitor and look after these kind of activities to showcase their work.

Worst work like balance in Deloitte USI... there is no cooling period here. Daily minimum 12 hours of work will be there and on busy season it could be 12-14 hours.
Nobody will ask you to stretch the working hours but the amount of work will be assigned to you along with an unrealistic deadline that will force you to stretch

This is true..senior leadership will say for the sake of saying that don’t stretch more than 10 hours but the amount of tasks assigned to you, you would have to be there for 14-15 hours on an average. If you are ok with that then go ahead @notwanttoreveal
