Sometimes I code all day with my headphones ON. Or read a couple or research papers. WFH gets monotonous, it's nice to see other humans this way to me.

They’re trying to act busy 🥲

Same kind of people make a day in the life of X, then investors go brrrr 🔫🔫

Hoping some VC drops a check in their lap so they can cover their bill?

Just inquisitive, is working from a cafe productive?

For the price of their coffee, one can get day pass in most co-working spaces in the city.

There is a good mix of people : I have a WFH job and as a change of scenery I go to Starbucks and work once in a while. Obviously more distractions so best to go when the day is light or zero meetings. People who have meetings about confidential company stuff in Starbucks are the worst.

Where I’m from they call this ‘shoshebaazi’. Tryna look busy and productive while doomscrolling reddit and shitposting on twitter the entire day. Folks who actually wanna work contribute very little to the population of the coffee shop macbook techie trope.

Those are the ones who are part of over hiring in companies
