Considering the volatility of the private sector and the compromised work-life balance, is joining a Group-A/B central govt job worthy?

If you want to live a balanced life and don’t get easily frustrated with inefficiencies, I feel central govt jobs are way better. My point is with those jobs in tier2 cities - you can easily buy a home, car and establish decent lifestyle. You will sleep peacefully, work almost fixed hours. FIRE bhi nahi sochna padega 😂
