There was a time in my career when I was going through a personally and financially challenging phase. I was in urgent need of stability, and I chose to prioritize employment over compensation. That decision was driven by circumstance, not by lack of skill or ambition. I accepted an opportunity that came my way—even though it came with a lower package than my previous role—because I knew staying professionally active and continuing to grow was more important than a temporary dip in compensation.
