Current role as a data engineer/data analyst in Big 4 has okayish pay, but extremely trivial work and scope

Most of it involves DB modelling on SQL and then doing basic CRUD operations. I keep skilling and inculcating skills like Pandas, Power BI, Airflow, Advanced Excel , Cloud technologies etc. but I was told I will prolly never use them here?

What to do to maximise chances of switch 2 years down the line ? This is my first job out of college. I can put fake projects using these workexp but I can't lie and might get caught during interview ( max I can say it's a proprietary project) and most other Big 4 companies will realise I am lying because my department is notorious for shitty low quality work( happend to me in an interview)
