Atul purchased an Innova on Dhanteras a few days ago. His friends asked for a treat, so they went out late at night, had some alcohol, and decided to go on a long drive. Around 2 a.m., a BMW passed their vehicle, and they started racing. Two of them were leaning out from the sunroof when the car collided with a container. The impact was so severe that onlookers described the car's metal on the container looked as if it was melted on the container. Two of the passengers’ heads were found meters away from their bodies. One body was shattered, and tragically, all of them died, one battling for life. When the police called the parents, they insisted their kids were sleeping at home, unaware that they had gone out to a party. All of them were between 19 and 25 years old, pursuing MCom and BCA degrees from Graphic Era, and most were single children of their parents. Tragic incident from Dehradun.
Saw the video on X and it is crazy how a Toyota was completely totalled. They must’ve have been easily 130+ kmph. For sure.

The only respite is that an innocent pedestrian or vehicle didn’t get crashed into like the Pune case.
Drinking and driving is not safe. Know of someone from school who passed away over speeding in his bike.

In some countries during the license evaluations(I’ve done), they show you such gory videos so that you know beforehand what can happen. People find it easy to blame authorities (yes Gadkari failed in enforcement) but almost 90% of Indians overspeed, use mobile during driving. We have repeated underage, drunk driving accidents but nothing has changed. A psychological change is required!
Why is this a sad news? They ducked around and found out. If anything we got rid of a few bad drivers before they took some innocent with them.

Really Sad to see such lousy quality from Toyota. Also serves the parents right for not bringing up kids properly and handing over car keys to irresponsible drivers. Really happy that multiple potential rowdy drivers are off road in one go and hill roads are safe.

The craziest stuff is that apparently one of the girls did not inform at home and her mother said that she’s sleeping when the police called her to inform of her demise.
Alcohol should not be advertised, promoted and normalised at home.

Alcohol is not a choice or free will but just a commodity for capitalism/ consumerism.
Some states also drive their economy thru alcohol which is even a bigger problem.
Look at the eastern europen/ UK where alcohol is ingrained in their culture and see what is happening.
