Delhi's Birth Rate Still Below Pre-Pandemic Levels

• Births in Delhi remained below pre-pandemic levels for fourth consecutive year
• 315,087 births registered in 2023, up from 300,350 in 2022 but lower than 365,868 in 2019
• Birth rate at 14.66 per thousand population, higher than 2022 but below pre-pandemic 18-19
• Institutional births reached 95.58% in 2023, highest since 2005
