
Deloitte USI: C - underpaid?
My current overall experience is 6yrs. I was a senior tester in my previous organisation and was paid 12.5lpa. Joined Deloitte USI on Nov 2024 as consultant. Initially I was offered 13lpa, then I got counter offer of 18lpa and Deloitte revised salary to 15lpa with 1-10% hike. I did get another offer of 21lpa, but I declined it and didn't re negotywith Deloitte. Am I underpaid?

Simply decline it and accept the 21 lpa offer.

Can you share how did you get your offer revised with a counter offer ?? Like how did you approach and their response and how many days it took ?

Simply ask the HR to revise your salary as you have a better offer. They often do it if your interview performance is good. This might take up to 7 days as they have to take several approvals.

Why didn't you join the company offering 21 LPA? With Deloitte you will reach there in not less than 3 years (given you are getting strong/exceptional ratings). If the compensation is concerned, you should have joined the company offering 21. However, you are not underpaid as per your tech stack.

First year hike will be minimal. 15 Lpa is good if you had received joining or retention bonus

How much are you exactly getting paid? 13 or 15 or 21?

Considering this, Can I expect good hike atleast?
