Dishwasher in Bangalore

Hi Folks,

I have recently moved to Bangalore with wife and a kid and am looking to buy a dish washer.

Could people who have done this share the one they bought ( company, price etc ) along with advantages and disadvantages ( manual work involved , cost of operation, life etc )they have encountered in owning the appliance?

Thanks in Advance.

Have from Bosch bought during lockdown. Lifesaver as I don't have to pay my maid to do this, who was anyways grumbling at the amount of vessels piling up daily. Cons are finding the right space to fit in an apartment, opex coats to run a d maintain,

We got one from IFB, used it for a month and went back to old ways, to use dishwasher you need to pre clean the utensils and after the wash utensils have a layer for white powder , which again needs to be cleaned.

Use salt and rinse aid even if you are using all in one tablet.

My parents have been using Bosch since 2015. Unloading takes 2-3mins in the morning. We used to load the machine throughout the day after scraping off food (never rinsed). On hot summer days, we run a 10 min pre rinse cycle before the wash. I got the same machine after marriage and use it daily. Works like a charm on ceramic and glassware. Except for 2-3 large or non dishwash safe utensils, we are fully dependent on it. It's a lifesaver

One of my relative has it and he told me that it’s not worth the cost of maintenance and time it takes to clean the dishes. It’s better to employ someone to do it. Though same relative prefers it if he is in Dubai
