Distance education not valid?

I have done my bachelor's and Mba from distance , university approved by UGC . I cleared my interview with Accenture but during background verification and offer discussion they asked if I have done 15 years of full time education to which I explained things. Now I am waiting for their call back.

Whatever i have read says Accenture has a strict policy to not take people who have not completed 15 years of full time education.also in the job description they add this criteria specifically. But in the position to which i applied it was only minimum 15 years of education (no full time education was mentioned)

Is there any exception, can someone guide.

I have 5 years of experience bdw.

Shall I wait or not.
