Domain change advice
Hello guys.I am working as a Mainframe developer since almost 3 years.I feel there is no growth in my company or in the domain.I see very few openings in Mainframe.I want to consider switching my domain to Devops or Salesforce by learning the required skills and working on projects.Any advice please?

i agree with you but why are you not thinking about other options.Mainfranes lot of options are there in the market no need to switch but you should be ready to move onsite and rotational shifts i know some are getting more than 60 Lakhs with 8 to 12 years of experience
Right. But I feel after certain point there isn't much to learn in Mainframe domain as you are always working on the same type of tasks and just editing the old code. I also don't see opportunities in Mainframe for my experience.
Life is not always learn some times we should earn aswell.when we are earning a lot with what ever we learn thats fine else move in to mgmt side
