They select you based on the success story to you share with your TL/Manager. If the success story is good enough for a award they will give you one, if not they will give you just Bright Star certificate. It’s just that you have to be vocal about your success stories and the work that you deliver.
Again it boils down to which practice your manager belongs to,
I am the only MuleSoft resource in the project team US - USI combined, I work parallely on other multiple projects at a time, my OP is CBO CE, and manager to whom I report to are from Salesforce background (C&M).
Usually they never know whom should they reach out to for my escalation wrt nomination for such awards.
Till date I have never recived a single penny as a monetory rewards except the dry words of appreciation.
There are such factors like offering practice etc. Which play a major role.
I have been working in Deloitte from last 2 years but till now I have not received any spot awards.when every i ask to my manager he told i have recommended your name for spot awards but then why I'm not getting any awards.To whom i should contact for this, Can someone please help me .
Long story short, your manager can give you reward based on your performance
For spot award you get 5000, for applause 10000, for outstanding 25000
